MILLY MIRKOVIC

TENNIS PHYSIOTHERAPY CONSULTANT

BIO

My tennis journey began from a young age, taking me to international junior and challenger events, short lived due to a series of injuries, which eventually led me to study sports physiotherapy and work with tennis players. I am a physiotherapist with over 15 years experience of working in tennis; from grand-slam winners, to developing juniors, to recreational tennis players. My understanding of the game, its physical demands and the load imposed on different tissues, helps me navigate through injuries with confidence. More specific to upper limb, my knowledge of racket technology, ball types and stroke biomechanics,
adds attention to detail which is paramount to planning a successful return to play. I enjoy working with players and their teams. Where an injury requires an external opinion, I work with a network of sports medicine and science practitioners to help optimise injury outcomes.
